Bison Hunts
We breed and raise our own bison here in the vast hills of our 50,000 acre ranch. Many of our mature bulls will weigh up to 2,000 pounds. This creates a very desirable trophy for the hunter as well as providing a large quantity of delicious bison meat which carries as much as 35 percent more protein than beef and is 97 percent fat free. We are well prepared to accommodate rifle, muzzleloader, handgun and archery hunters. Hunts are conducted by 4×4 vehicle and spot and stalk. All bison hunts are conducted within a 3,000 acre high-fenced section of our ranch.
Elk Hunts
On average, the elk at Dismal River Outfitters, are between 5 1/2 and 7 1/2 years old. Most of our trophy bulls are 6×6′s and 7×7′s scoring up to 350 SCI. Our management bulls are 5×5′s and 6×6′s scoring up to 290 SCI. Our elk hunts are conducted by 4×4 vehicle or spot and stalk. Whichever suites our client’s desires or needs. We are well prepared to accommodate rifle, muzzleloader, handgun and archery hunters. All elk hunts are conducted within a 3,000 acre high-fenced section of our ranch.
Deer Hunts, Whitetail & Muledeer
We offer both whitetail deer and mule deer hunting during the rut here on the Dismal River Outfitters ranch. Due to our limited hunting pressure, your odds for success run high. We are well prepared to accommodate rifle, muzzleloader and handgun hunters. These are free-ranging deer hunts on our 50,000 acre ranch.
